My attempt at a trip report

Ok, here goes....

Not a lot to report, other than I had a wonderful trip :)

Stayed at Pop Century from 07/25-30, had 4 busy days in the parks.

For a last minute trip, things went fairly well. A little chaotic, but with the parks as busy as they were and the weather the way it was, it was a sucessful visit.

2 first timers came with us, so I had a great time just watching them "take everything in." It's been so long that I forget how overwhelming it can all be when you've never been there before.

I bought my first AP :D That was exciting. However, it somehow got demagnetized? and had to get a new one...the man at the Epcot ticket counter wasn't very pleasant about that either...oh well!

I've never stayed at a "value" resort before, but I really enjoyed Pop Century. I'm used to Wilderness Lodge, but Pop was a nice change. Got a lovely AP rate too :D

Came back to the hotel in the early afternoon most days to relax and jump in the pool. Did get sunburned however... but with my fair skin, that's nothing new...I never tan!

This was my first trip since visiting these boards (my last trip was December 2002) and I did notice a lot more that I never did before, like rides that need some TLC, especially Splash and HM.

Did Philharmagic and Mission:Space both for the first time.

Loved Philharmagic. Was a little disapointed with Mission:Space....guess I was expecting a little more? I mean, the way that they give you those warnings, I was really scared! I found it to be pretty tame, however.

Muppet Vision 3D, as always, was the highlight of my trip. Managed to make it out of the Muppet gift shop with not much damage to my wallet. Picked up a kermit pen and a gonzo fridge magnet. :D

Okay, enough of my rambling... :lookaroun

That happened to my Mother at Animal Kingdom. The CM was very pleasant about it, let us into the park where we sorted a new one out at Guest Relations.
