My Animal Kingdom Video

I have uploaded my first video to Disney-Central - "Animal Kingdom by Barnum42.mpg". Popkid is planning to convert it to AVI (as for reasons unknown by eveyone I can't render DIVX on my PC).

If you are curious to see it before it gets AVI'd then it's in the Uploads / Public / Convert to Divx.

It's a tad under half an hour compilation of footage I shot at Animal Kingdom in 2001 & 2003.

Hope you like it.

I guess nobody has viewed this movie yet

My brother and I looked at it for a bit on my new projector last night, and the video looks very nice. It's comprehensive, doesn't suffer from ADD (the shots don't jump around), and fun to watch. I wish there was more coverage of Dinoland, and of rides, but that's just my preference. Otherwise, the footage of the animals, shows and scenery is relaxing and enjoyable. This was the perfect park to make a video like this with.

Well done.

Well thank you kindly.
What little I shot of Dinoland was not very good hence it's not being in there. I'm currently re-editing Lion King and Tarzan to include new angles from my last visit. Then I have the other three parks to start on. Plenty to keep me out of trouble for a long time to come.

I can not find it. Could you put a direct link to it . Thanks

:)
There is no direct link to download it. You need to use MIRC to access the files.

Are you familiar with MIRC?

Thanks! Been meaning to compliment your Fantasmic. Glad I have now seen the Disneyland version. What editing software do you use?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro for all my editing and Windows Media Encoder or Virtual Dub for my final encoding.

I'm on Pinnacle Studio - version 8 & 9. Virtual Dub refused to work on my PC, whilst I can view DIVX it just won't encode. I may give Windows Media Encoder a go. Was the the one you used for Fantasmic? The only issue I had with it was that you can not fast forward through the video (to replay your favourite bits of course).

Shame Studio can't do the superimposing. I liked the way you put that together.

I am not sure what you mean about not being able to FFWD with a WMV file. True, some WMV cannot do that if it is a stream; but my video you should be able to. I just did it with mine.

I was playing it in Windows Media Player 9 with all the updates. If I moved the slider at the bottom to go to a specific part it just shot straight back to where it was when I started.

I thought your choice of music really enhanced the video.

Glad you liked it - your post was right on cue, I was about to search for your MIRC guide thread to pass on to someone. Your signature has saved me the trouble :D
