My airfare went down!

*grumble, grumble* I purchased my plane tickets awhile ago, and now the prices have gone down by almost $50!

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do? I mean, it's not like it's going to stop me from going--- but I was just curious! If not, no big deal, of course. I figured it couldn't hurt, however, to ask!

Depends on the airline.
I would call the customer service number-maybe you'll luck out and get a credit.

The last time that happened to me on Southwest they gave me the lower price. Don't remember the logistics, though.

Not sure about other airlines but if it is Jetblue or Airtran give them a call. They will give you a credit for the difference that is good for one year...speaking of I just remembered that I have Jetblue credit!
