MVMCP Tickets

If I purchase MVMCP Tickets now (they are coming up for sale) but have to cancel my trip (My Mother who will be travelling with me is having some health issues) can I get my money back on the tickets? or sell them on or just out of pocket?
Its a fair amount of money to spend if I then can't use them but don't want miss out on the date I want

Special event tickets are non-refundable so you would either need to sell them to someone else or take the financial hit.

I would not purchase them now. The parties don't sell out (if they even do) until closer to the party date. The price has seriously gone up this, there is no way I'd purchase them if I wasn't 100% sure I was going.
