MVMCP Ride Strategy

I am going to MVMCP on Friday, and what is the best ride strategy. We are entering the park at four and staying till midnight. We will eat at 4:00 @ Casey's Corner and then we plan on doing rides but not really any characters, we want to do a lot of rides (actually most of them), and we need to work it around this:

7:15 Celebrate the Season
9:15 Magic,Memories, and You
9:30 Wisher
10:30 MOUACTP

What is your ride strategy?

If you haven't been on a "regular" day yet then make a beeline for the big ticket rides after you enter until sometime after 7. I tend to gravitate to POTC, SPlM, BTMR, and HM first.

Between 4 and 7, you have the overlap with "regular" visitors but as it gets closer to 7, they are leaving the park, so I'd say 6-8 is a good time to ride with a quick walk-on. Also 11-Midnight. Grab cookies and cocoa when walking from one ride to the next. There is little to no wait wherever you get them. But definitely do whatever riding you think you can do until 7 when the party starts.

Keep in mind if that is your focus, you'll have less time for character greetings which require standing in line (wasn't for me.)

Reserve 8-11 for park festivities. It looks like you're already doing that.

If you link your Xmas party ticket to MDE you will be able to do FP+ from 4-7pm. Now when u initially select to do rides for that day it will give you the option of scheduling them at any time before 7, so you will have to go back and modify the times correctly(4-5, 5-6, 6-7). We never waited for than 5 minutes for any ride during the party but our wasn't sold out so that's a factor, but it will be easy to ride everything!

What is mouactp? Is that the parade? (Forget it. I figured it out. The parade.)

If you have a touringplans.com subscription, I think they have plans just for MVMCP and MNSSHP. :)

Otherwise, do the stuff with low waits (e.g. IASW) earlier and the stuff with longer waits (e.g. Space Mountian) just before closing.

The ride waits aren't that bad because most people are busy doing party stuff. Do remember that not all the rides are open during the party! You might want to ride things that will close before 6:30. I know they stop letting people get in line for CoP by 6:15 or 6:20 on some nights.

Skip the cookies - they suck! :)
