MVMCP questions

Hi everyone! I am going to MVMCP on Nov 30th. This is my first time doing this special event so I had a few questions about it. What time does the MK usually close when this event is being held? I have heard ranges from 5pm-7pm. Do you know what time on average they hold the parade and when and if they have Wishes? The reason I ask is because it's a tradition of ours to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table our first night and this is also the night we are attending MVMCP. I want to eat dinner there, but I don't want to miss the parade or any of the special events that go on. I checked allearsnet but I didn't see a specific time listed. If anyone can give me any info it would be much appreciated! :)

I think the MK closes at 5p on MVMCP nights and then reopens at 7p for the party. Make sure to stock up on the free cookies (yes, line your purse/bag/whatever with plastic wrap and take them home) because they are so delicious! My guide from last year says fireworks at 9:15p and parade at 8:15p and 10:45p. Hope this helps!

The park closes at 6 and re-opens at 7 but, you can enter the park early with your MVMCP ticket and get a wristband.
You will be ushered to Tomorrowland at park closing so they can clear the park out.
So don't worry, you won't miss a thing.

Closing time for MVMCP?

I am going to MVMCP on 12/9, the day before my flight back to the west coast. Does anyone know how late MVMCP runs? I would have to leave the park before the event is over.

Going also!!

We are going to the MVMCP on Nov. 30th also, and will also be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's my daughter's 7th birthday. we've never done the christmas party before, i hope it's everything I've heard it will be.

How early can one enter the park with a MVMCP ticket? Just want to know so I can maximize my Magic Kingdom time. :)

Also, how early do tickets tend to sell out?

Thanks for any responses! :)

Hi, I think someone touched on those above, but in case they didn't.

Getting into the park pretty soon after 5:00pm would make you lucky, but I have seen it happen. If you don't mind being possibly told to wait about 30 - 45 minutes, then go for it. The Official Disney stated starting time for the party is 7:00pm.

As far as tickets selling out, it really all depends on what night you'll be going for. Weekends will most likely sell out faster than weekdays. One week ago I booked the party for the very first night, and had no trouble at all. So that's a pretty good sign that most nights will be available.

Regarding Wishes & MVMCP: I got a flyer with my last Disney Credit Card statement. They had a section on the Holidays and under MVMCP they mentioned Wishes as the fireworks display.
