MVMCP Question

I have gone to Several MNSSHP in the past few years and have been reading up on the Christmas parties that are held...Besides all of the same attractions and free Cookies and Hot Cocoa (rather than the candy during halloween) would this just be another EMH like night with christmas thrown around? Bare in mind I am a single guy so I go the solo route on this??

They hold the Christmas parade twice during the night and there is a fireworks display we enjoyed the evening.

Depends on how much you like parades and fireworks, dance parties, unique characters, and very light crowds at times.
I've not been to Halloween, but done Christmas a few times.
Lines at the open attractions are nearly non-existent. I've never really waited for anything. Especially during any of the parades or fireworks.
They have the standard dance parties around, if you're into that.
The parade is quite nice and well done, and I think the Christmas version of Wishes is the best I've ever seen.
If you want to stand in line to M&G all the seven dwarfs, or some other characters you may not see, you can do that, but I think the lines there are 10x longer than any attraction.

Typically what I'll do is skip buying a park ticket for the day I plan on attending MVMCP, show up at 4pm when they'll let me in, and stay as long as I can.

Personally, I like the Christmas party better than the Halloween party, although they're both fun. The Christmas parade is wonderful, the stage show is entertaining, and the projection show on the castle is very well done. I went by myself the first time and had a blast. I think it's worth the money.

I've done both and found them equally enjoyable. I skipped the cookies and hot chocolate, watched the dance party but... ahem...didnt join in. Fireworks and parade were worth watching. I thought the crowds did abandon the park earlier than at Halloween... it had started getting chilly at night and maybe that made the difference.

If you go to either event and try to do all the parades, shows, fireworks, meets, and other special events there is really no time for rides. Its a full night of fun and worth it.
