Hi, I don't recall ever being at Disney around the time of the special parties. I know you need a specific ticket to be able to go to the party, but was just curious. I doubted it, but was wondering if a year pass allows you to attend the party too or not. Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

Each party (MVMCP and MNSSHP) requires seperate tickets. You can still go to MK on these days, but you will be asked to leave around 7PM.

A yearly pass gets you a discounted ticket on select days. You can't get a discounted ticket on all days the party is offered, just on selected days the party is offered and usually earlier parties. The later parties are all regular rates.

Nope! It doesn't even give you free parking on party nights! All bets are off for parties.

You can get a discount on nights that Disney thinks will be less busy, if you buy them online or on the phone. I used to be able to buy in person and get my discount, but this year I had to wait in line, be told No, we can't sell you a ticket, then call to buy them, get back in line to pick them up.

It was not my favorite Disney experience ever. It was worse than arriving at a restaurant and being told they were full, calling to get the reservation and then being seated...because the lines were longer.
