MVMCP Crowds

Good morning(ish)! I'm wondering about MVMCP. I've never been, but my mom and I are planning to go on December 14th. I've been playing around with wait times and I'm getting estimates of 15+ minutes for rides like PoC and HM. People who have been, is this accurate? I was under the impression that waits would be really minimal. Thanks in advance!

We went a couple years ago, and the park was extremely crowded. Not sure how many tickets they SAY they sell, but we felt like cattle. Moooo....:) It was a nice atmosphere with the snow, cookies and hot chocolate.

15 minutes is accurate. Those wait times are minimal. Just be glad you're not going in the spring break/summer season when those wait times are hours+.

Here is a link to what the supposed crowds are for the Christmas Party.

I normally do go during spring break or over a holiday, so I'm used to the super long waits! I just thought the waits during the party were supposed to be short. Oh well. Thanks for the link!

Between four and seven, the ride waits are minimal and the park is not crowded. However, after seven, it did get crowded. My biggest tip for the party is to see the first parade if there's any chance of rain. If not, then do the second one. If you ride during either, the waits should be minimal, even if the park is crowded.

I think it depends on the day and how close to Christmas it is.. Some of the dec parties are more crowded than Nov. We went to the opening night of MVMCP last year and it was sold out and was not crowded at all. Jingle Cruise had a long wait because they just opened it up that night. Everything else was very short wait times. A lot of people are doing more of the party things than rides I think.

Good to know. We fly in on December 13th, so the 14th is the first one. I'm guessing that's going to be less crowded than the parties later in our trip. I'm sure it'll be awesome either way!
