I'm at Dhs tonight and all of New York street is blocked off. There is a stage set up near the perspective facade. There are people I'm newsboyisg costumes and singing? Any ideas why or for what?

It's a private event, and yes, they are performing songs from Newsies.

It is a one time event, so nobody should get their hopes up.

With enough money, you can have a reception inside The Great Movie Ride.

With enough money, you can rent out the entire MK.

I'm not making this up, all of those things have occurred. Tho the last time I remember a private MK rental, it was McDonalds in 2004, private party for franchisors & their families. (Right around April 19th, as thats when McD's CEO died of a heart attack at Yacht Club)
