Though I may be kind of old to go on myspace, how do you get the background to work??? I have a plain old page and can't seem to figure out how to get different backgrounds, etc.

It's just basic html. If your unfamilar with that, then you could just use the plethora of pre-coded stuff on the web. For example, go HERE to get the whole thing coded automatically.

As for background images, the images themselves must be uploaded on the internet so you can link to them.

Anywhoo, keep in mind that 90% of myspace pages look awful. People don't realize that bright colors, annoying music, bright sparkling things, and other annoying .gifs are taxing to read. Best advice--keep things simple.

yeah i used a few sites, mainly www.gotomycodes.com and just copy and paste the codes into your profile, e.g. in the about me section, and voila, pretty pages!!!
