Music at WDW

I'm continually surprised at the quality and breadth of music at Walt Disney World--often the most memorable as well as memory-triggering elements of the parks.

Any favorites?

Here are some I can't get out of my head from my last trip--

(1) Reflections of Earth (a given)

(2) Fantasy in the Sky medley (another given)

(3) ....that "True Colors" song--a Kodak theme? (from Honey, I Shrunk... preshow.) Any information on this--or where I could find a recording of this version would be greatly appreciated.

:sohappy: ALSO.. a special kudos to the folks of "American Vybe"--- we saw them by accident, and they were wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend seeing their show! (American Adventure, check guidemap)

(1)Pretty much anything at Epcot, including area music. I like Spaceship Earth (Tomorrows Child) and "Energy"

(2) the "Fantasmic" theme

(3)"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, especially the instrumentals heard in background music.

(4)The Canada Song

(5) "Golden Dream" from the American Adventure

(6)Basically ANYTHING at the Studios. From the jazz instrumentals of Sunset Boulevard to the Movie themes of Hollywood Boulevard, and "Hooray for Hollywood"

As for True Colors, I couldnt tell you where you could get that version of the song, but the first version copild be found on a cd

i love just about all of the Disney area music! nothing else in the world like it!

as for the music that is most memorable for me...to be honest, there's really no Disney song or area music that i can think of that doesn't trigger a memory or two! each one is different, and each one is special in it's own way. it's one of my many favorite parts of Disney World!

I like most everything I hear at the parks. There's a movie theater nearby that plays movie themes outside, and it always reminds me of walking around the parks. I'd have to say my top 10 favorites(past & present) are:

1- There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
2- Makin' Memories
3- New Horizons
4- Listen to the Land
5- One Little Spark
6- any Aerosmith song from R&R (I guess this counts as Disney music)
7- AE pre-show (Seize the Future)
8- Test Track pre-show music
9- Tree of Life Theme
10- Bright Little Star (from Cosmic Ray's)

Sorry, the only one I cannot stand is It's A Small World (*ducks to avoid the produce*)

WDW definitely brings the great feeling of being there. I think Epcot has the best music. It seems like every song in that park is great. I also like the magic kingdom classics, as well as the various music heard in the studios. One Little Spark is my favorite song, and i listen to various music all day from area music to attraction music, like Horizons right now.

4. all the music from the haunted mansion
5. how do you do and laughing place
6. most of the music played at the entrance and at the tree of life at AK
7. of course the music in and around the R N R coaster
8. the star tunnel music from space mountain
9. sunset blvd area music

and btw if any body would like some attraction and area music from disney I have a lot of those files

, titles include the following

all the pavillion music from epcot world showcase and future world and all the pavillions.
Haunted Mansion

space mountain
xtraterestrial encounter

remeber the magic
all the music on hollywood boulevard

I just love all the music at disneyworld.
it is so relaxing and peacefull and upbeat it makes me so happy when i hear it and just makes me feel good.

Any of those songs for celebrations such as Remember the Magic, Share a Dream Come True, and Celebrate the Future. All of the parade music...especially Spectromagic and Jammin Jungle
As far as ride music...and attractions I like the original JII,Magic Journeys, Splash Mountain. I also love the area music from The Living Seas.

Just call me the sound man. I think I have just about every track that has been mentioned in this thread so far, except for the Studios stuff. I'm a MAJOR EPCOT freak tho, I'm reasonably sure I have every audible that has ever been used in Future World, and a couple from World Showcase. I'm usually too busy in WS visiting Norway and going blind tho... Mmmm, love them girls! :lol:

I know I've said this before, but, I listen to the Reflections of Earth score in my car every day on the way to work. It is 17:09 minutes of pure Disney magic for me every morning, and gets me ready for the day!
