I hope it happened - and I hope they are going to have special guest stars - as a kid that reveal was always the most anticipated part of the show. That - and the guest stars for The Love Boat and Fantasy Island but I suppose I am dating myself a bit here!

I love the idea of bringing the muppets back with a variety show. I just hope they do it right. None of this catering to the little kids that has dominated the muppets for the most part in recent times (the 2 movies were a good start). It needs to have an appeal to all ages groups otherwise it will fail. They also need to throw some money at it as well. You can't just go half way and expect it to do awesome. You need to hire great talent who understand the muppets (like Jason Segal) and let them do their thing. You then need to back it with the Disney juggernaut marketing machine.
