Muppet: Wizard of OZ

If Disney is looking for a sequel for the Muppet's Wizard of Oz, ere's another great idea for another sure-fire Muppet movie, free of charge!

In this film, Kermit the Frog when learns that Fozzie Bear has gone completely bonkers and sent a swarm of radio-controlled banana cream pies to attack Russia because he believes that some of the former Soviet Union's remaining communists are plotting to pollute the "precious bodily fluids" of good American muppets. Kermit meets with a big, friendly Russian (played by Sweetums) to warn him about the problem, and learns that if even a single pie hits Russia, it will trigger an "April Fool's Day" device that will bombard the U.S. with joy buzzers, whoopee cushions, and those fake peanut cans that when you open them a snake jumps out.

Kermit calls in the three muppets who might be able to save the day, one of whom, Gonzo (who also, in different makeup, plays two other parts in the film), is revealed to be a brilliant but demented former Nazi confined to a wheelchair. How does it all turn out? See the film and find out!

Wakka Wakka Wakka!

When does it air on TV?

I've been checking the TiVo for WEEKS waiting to see when it's going to be on and I haven't found anything yet. The article in the Disney catalog just says May 2005.

It is indeed May 7th, and I think it looks really bad. I mean Ashanti!? Ugh....

"I'm going to go to the Good Queen and ask her to make me a singing superstar sensation! And then maybe I'll ask her to clear up Murder Inc's money troubles, and make Jay-Z fall in love with me!"

(Okay I was exaggerating. But the first line is true.)
