Disney made a Muppets go to Disney World movie when Muppet Vision 3-D first open to promote the ride...I remember loving this movie...but I was a bit young. Does anybody know where to find it? I've been looking for at least ten yrs.

Oh also, I had on the same tape the old Disneyland opening of Pirates which showed the whole ride...those were my two favorites to watch until my sister taped over them...argh. I'd really like to find both of them again.

To jog the memory a bit:
Kermit brings all the muppets to his family reunion ina florida swamp. His friends are bored until they discover that the swamp is right next to the magic kingdom. All the muppets then run rampant around all three parks, going on rides and doing typical hilarious muppet stuff. I seem to remember cameos from Charles Grodin and that annoying little girl from the Cosby Show(Not Rudy but the other one.) It was at least an hour long. I watched it like six million times before I lost it. Please, I really want to see this again.

I wish Disney could air this on the Disney Channel. (But that's impossible because it actually has to do with Disney. )

I was able to see this at the Museum of Television and Radio in NYC (you are able to purchase access to view a certain number of television programs. . . too cool!!). . . and it was pretty cool seeing the Muppets tour the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

I wish I had it on video. . . alas. . .

Try ebay, perhaps?

I am fortunate enough to have a copy of the movie on VHS, taped off the Disney channel when it first aired. I have never seen this movie sold in stores, so I'm assuming it was just a made for TV movie.

Either way, maybe there is a way to somehow get the video on to my computer so I can share it with everybody!... but... i dont know where to begin with that :hammer: :hammer:

I believe there is an adaptor and software that will allow you to transfer VHS to your computer, but it is probably pricey. Maybe someone has the adaptor and you could make them a copy? Of course, i just want the video, and its not like I'm the one who will have to do the work. Feel free to ignore me. :)

try poking around in the Digital Media discussion here on the board. I know RU42 has done this in the past as he's created a number of ride-through videos off of VHS and other formats.

HeHe This is so true. I miss Inside Out and they would have some Disney park shows air inside Vault Disney, too. I miss that so much!

I paid about $40 and got a USB video capture device. It plugs into a USB port on your computer, and you just hook the RCA cables (the red, white, and yellow cables) from the VCR to the device. The downside is the one I has only captures up to 320X280 which isn't very good quality. You should be able to pick something up from Best Buy or Circuit City.

Yeah, I was lookin around and the thing I need is around 40 bucks... but a couple of my buddies may already be able to do it on their computers, so I'll see what i can do. I have the tape sitting right besside me as I type... I would love nothing more than to share it with all who want it!

I have a Pinnacle DC10 card that fits in the PC - much better than the USB things. I use it for editiing full screen quality tapes so it may be a bit overboard for your needs.

However now that someone has mentioned this film it may be on one of my VHS tapes gathering dust upstairs. I will have to look for it. But nobody hold their breath - Needle in a Haystack could be the buzzword here.

Wow, that's great. I had been looking for a reason to buy the Pirates DVD, but I just never got around to it. Now, I'll be getting it as soon as possible. :sohappy:
