No it doesn't not go upside down in anyway. It does have some fairly extreme drops however that are very fast and seem much faster since you're in the dark. I'm not much of a coaster rider but I love this one as its about as extreme as I can handle now.

Your daughter will likely be able to handle it as it really isn't too intense. My six year old brother rode it without a problem on our last trip, and my coasterphobic mom thought it was fun as well. Their is really only one drop that can take your breath away, and thats just because you're launched over the top of the hill.

The coaster is also broken up with show 'scenes.' So even if it is found too intense, these parts are short, the show scenes are more entertainment than intense or scary for me but it really depends on your character! But as said, the coaster parts with fast acceleration or drops/twists are fairly short, though still excellent!!

Personally for me, its the best coaster I've ever ridden. You really feel like you escaped from something as you're supposed to once you're done and the thrilling sections aren't so long as to push you over the edge. And as said before they're broken up by several somewhat scary show scenes.

It goes 0-40 in 1.5 seconds-- roughly the acceleration of a Porsche Carrera.

The largest drop is about 25 feet at about a 55 degree angle (out of the false unload into the pit of hell).

The actual coaster part last about 50 seconds although the ride last 177 seconds (about 3 minutes). It does not go upside down. There is a turn that's roughly 80 degrees sideways, though. The restraints, however, are certified for inversions (and there are a few other coaster with the same restraints that do go upside down). All in all, if you don't like large coasters--you'll probably like RotM. There are two coaster parts towards the end of the ride. The first is about 35 seconds and the second about 15.

I've always wanted to see what this ride looks like with the lights on. Are there any pictures in existence anywhere of what the inside of that building looks like?

If she was ok on Road Runner Express at Fiesta Texas, then she should be able to handle the coaster portion of the ride just fine. The only difference between them is the launch section, which isn't too frightening. If I were you I'd be more worried about the show elements as that seems to be a more likely problem for young children.

If i had to give it a rating as how intense it is,on a scale where a 10 is Top Thrill Dragster or Millenium force in Cedar Point,Revenge of the Mummy is no more than a 5,with other Universal coasters like Dragons and Hulk being no more than an 8!!
