Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
I think i paid $8 for my resort one and used it all my stay at no extra charge. I believe you can use it evry stay at the resort.
Water park mugs were I think $9.50 inc tax for all day refill and $5 approx for a new sticker that alllows it to be used on your next visit to the water park.

To clarify, the refillable mugs are available at a WDW resort. They are about $10 now.

Each resort has its own mug. You can get unlimited refills on soda, coffee, tea, hot chocolate at the snack bars/food courts of your resort.

You cannot use the mugs at the parks, or at another resort. (I know some people do, and the CMs ususally don't challenge you, butm hey, people--let's follow the rules) For example, if you have a Caribbean Beach mug, you cannot use it at the Contemporary.

The exception to this is the All Stars. They are considered "sister resorts", so you can use your Movies mug at the Sports or Music food courts.

The mugs are good forever--you can use the All Stars mug you buy in 2002 for your next trip in 2005. You can also use the Caribbean Beach mug you bought in 1993 (if you remember to bring it)

A few words of warning.

Make sure you know where your room is in relation to the food court. At some resorts, it can be a long walk that you may not want to make.

Also make sure you understand which beverages are and are not included. My understanding is that juice and milk are not included. So, if your kids prefer juice to soda, they may not be a good deal for your family. If, however, your family loves Coca-Cola products or can't stand the tap water, they are probably a bargain.

Plus, they make a good souvenir.

That sounds like a good deal then since it includes soda & coffee. My husband drinks alot of diet soda and I love my coffee! Thanks for the info:cool:

I think the mugs are a great bargain. I used the cups about ten times each day when I was down there getting hot chocolate in the morning and soda in the afternoon and evening. They were really great and they are a great idea to get if you are staying in a Disney hotel.

We really like the mug program. Disney seems to be trying to streamline it more lately. The mugs used to vary considerably in price from resort to resort. Now, they almost all cost $9.99 with unlimited refills. Although, the most recent info I've seen still shows Old Key West as costing $4.95 and only giving you a reduced cost on the refill.

Assuming you are satying somewhere with free refills they are well worth the cost. We usually have a drink in the food court in the morning before heading out to the bus. We then refill it just as we are leaving and take it with us to the parks. Then refill it again on our way back into the room for the evening. And generally I still make my husband hike out to the food court and refill it a couple more times during the evening. So, we definately get our money's worth even though we don't tend to hang around the hotel durinig the day.

Every time we have gone to WDW we have bought a new mug. I have a whole cabinet full of them now, (our family is 5 people) I just found out the last time I was there, that we can bring our old mugs back with us each time we go. I have them from Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach & Dixie Landings (now part of Port Orleans)
Milk and juice you pay for separately, but all sodas and coffee, tea, iced tea, & hot chocolate are included.
I thought you could bring them from resort to resort??? I've never done that though... like I said, we bought new each time... UGH! :hammer:

We always use them and think they are a super idea, as we have a family of five we tend to buy three new ones and use two old ones even if in a different resort, as we stay for three weeks each time we visit we find we save lots of $ and the CM have never said anything because we have bought new ones as well.

We've stayed at Wilderness Lodge 4 times now -- each time for about a week, and we'll be returning in August for another 8 days. The first time we were there we bought two mugs and we haven't paid another penny for soda, coffee or tea since. Most of the machines also have lemonade, which my husband LOVES, and sweetened iced tea as well. I'm very fond of a half iced tea/half lemonade mix myself! Refreshing without all the fizz on a hot summer day.

I carry a small backpack with me, so we usually keep two large ziplock bags in there -- we stop in the morning for coffee to take to the parks. When we're done, we rinse them out and put them in the ziplocks in my backpack (or if your backpack has easily unhookable straps, I often attach them to the strap). Then, when we get back to the hotel, we stop again and refill with soda.

I would bet the mugs save us about $100 on each trip.

We always stay at the All Star resorts and always buy the mugs. Even if you can not use them in the parks, they are a great deal and can save you quite a few bucks in a weeks stay.

I will always continue to re-use my All-Star mug for the years to come, but I finally found something writing that says it's not allowed. In the All-Star Movies food court, probably many others as well, there are a poster advertising the free refillable mugs. Where is says "unlimited refills" on the poster, there is a *, and below it states that these refills are only good for your current stay at WDW.

If that's the case, then they don't enforce it. The mugs we have are from at least 3 or 4 years ago (all-stars), and they have even changed the designs, and we haven't had any problems.
