Ive been absent for awhile and may have missed this answer. I'm hoping to do another trip in the spring. Will Spectro be back? I really hope it's not gone forever

MSEP to Spectro

No firm date has been given but the estimates for MSEP's run are at about 18-24 months. If those estimates are correct that would put Spectro returning in the 2012-2013 time frame.

Hopefully having received a substantial refurbishment and overhaul, though don't hold your breath...
That is the rumor. We will see how the reality lines up with the rumor.

I mean,I guess it's great for them to overhaul the Spectro float (although I don't see how that takes 2yrs) but I miss it. MSEP was nice but IMO too long and I like spectro's music better. To me, MSEP has the "cool" factor but Spectro had the "magic" factor.

Don't forget the rumor of an entirely new parade coming to The Magic Kingdom as well! Some people say Spectro will have been completely rebuilt and be an entirely new parade if/when it returns.
