One of my friends went to Kennedy Space Center in FLA a few days ago and I saw a few pictures of the launching control room. There are about 50 desks and a few large screen tv's. While waiting in line for MIssion SPace, this would be a cool area to give the "passengers" a briefing about there sim flight on the big tv's.

Sort of like Mission to Mars, but not so fake and cheezy. (I know they did the best they could with the technology that was available to them for that ride.)

I remember that!!! :D it was a long time ago, they herded you into some room with murals of mars on the walls, and then into the "controll room", which looked like the revised MtM preshow...i remember that the fake skylights would brighten to add to the effect....forgot what happened afterward though...
