MS Paint

OKAY. Here's the deal, i posted this in Chit-chat but it should have been here:

I am so sad, my MS Paint doesn't work! Everytime I try to use it, the window pops up but it says there is not enough memory to use it, I tried closing all of the other windows and it didn't work
I might have accidentally made the size of the place where you draw waaay too big, but I can't fix it now!
Does anyone know how to fix this? I really love Paint!

did you get it fixed yet? If not try reinstalling it with your windows cd.

to your knowledge, do you have plenty of disk space left?


I just tried running paint in windows XP, with a blank drawing area of 964x637, and it used 13, 512k


Can you remember approx how big you made the drawing area?

I think I made it really big by accident, and it can't load all that in,
And Mr. P, I have a Windows ME

hit control+alt+delete (ONCE only)


and there should be a long list of programs. Try closing some of them down, then try again to open paint.


Do you have plenty of disk space available?

Not sure what that means but if you are still having a problem you might want to try going under add/remove programs and removing MS Paint and then go back to it and reinstall it. It should be under at tab at the top of the window that comes up called “Windows Setup” or some such thing… Before you do this, make sure you have your windows CD handy because you will need it.

Please let me know if it works or not.

Oh, and also, there was some improvement today!!!!
I can open other pictures and draw on them, but I can't make new pictures.
