MR.Toad's Wild Ride

Yeah, i think that was part of it....the same reason parts of PotC is different. When talking of pirating, is it really possible to be politically correct? That's like doing a film about slavery with slaves and their owners skipping down the street with smiles on their faces.

I watched the wind in the willows (toad) movie and Ichabod the other day with my son. I would love to see both of these as a ride. I miss toad but an improved version would be fun. sleepy hollow would be great in liberty square. I would love to see more theming in fantasy land (like disney land's) and I would love to see more rides themed for the classic movies.

I loved Mr. Toad when we went to WDW when I was a kid, BUT...I doubt that there are many kids out there who have even heard of it these days. EVERYBODY knows who Pooh is, which I suspect is part of what led to the Wild Ride being replaced.

As sad as it may seem...Mr Toads Wild Ride is gone for good.
It's not coming back...ever.
Get over it.
Get on with your life.
It's time to move on.
Cherish the memories.

I liked Mr. Toad better than Pooh. Pooh goes to slow, both story wise and ride wise, and I think it's not as fun for that reason.
