was just reading over at scream scape:

Disney News - (4/14/04) Earlier this month Disney released yet another film based on one of their attractions... or at least named after one, which was based upon a children’s story. I’m talking about Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride... the movie! Of interest to many, the film has been put together (and acted by) most of the remaining Monty Python members, with Terry Jones directing and playing Toad himself. Apparently the film was released internationally a few years ago under the original title of The Wind in the Willows. Under a distribution deal with Disney (who had nothing to do with the production of the film itself), the name of the film was changed in North America. (Just this week, the entertainment news sources are reporting that Disney has signed a writer to make their own Wind In The Willows script for a future big screen effort). You can either buy it at the Amazon link above or look for it at your local video store.

maybe they will redo mr. toad for wdw. one could only hope. maybe thery will do more mr. toad films. who knows.

Yeah this movie came out several years ago. I rented it and it was interesting and pretty amusing. It was called "Mr Toad's Wild Ride" when I rented it too, but it's really the whole Wind in the Willows story.

Definitely check it out, especially if you're a fan of any of the Monty Python cast.

Actually, Mr. Toads Wild Ride was made in 1996 and was released in theaters in the UK as The Wind in the Willows. Then in 1998, Disney released it on video under the name Mr.Toads Wild Ride.
