Mr Potato Head in Midway Mania

I remember reading a little while ago that Mr Potato head was rumoured to play the same greeting role in Midway Mania that Buzz currently fulfils in his Space Ranger Spin. (I forget where I saw this now - apologies).

It occurred to me that, since this is going to incorporate 3D technology - and the requisite glasses, Mr Potato Head would be a clever choice as his detachable glasses could be handed out to guests... because we all know there has to be a back-story to the glasses.

Anyway this is just a thought.

Any word on when Midway Mania will be complete? Is it going to resemble DinoRama in AK? Is it just one ride/show or an area of rides/shows?

There have been many threads on Midway Mania. It is meant to be an upcoming addition to Paradise Pier ay DCA - and possibly to subsequently fill the now vacated Millionaire slot at DMGMS. It may be a back-to-back ride incorporating 3D + motion technology similar to Spiderman at UIOA but with an unprecedented interactivity element such that guests can shoot at targets in the CGI world that triggers actual changes in the presentation. It will be presented as a series of Midway-type games, hosted by different characters from the ever popular Toy Story... at least that seems to be the general internet consensus... only time will tell
