Moving?

So, now that my Sept '13 trip is completely taken care of, I've started working on my May '14 trip. We plan to take DCL May 1st to May 4th, than stay on property May 4th to May 11th at the Wilderness Lodge.
However,... My fiance has decided he really wants to stay at the Beach Club (we've never been, always CSR) so I was thinking of doing a split stay 3 nights at CSR and 4 nights at the BC, is that to much moving, packing, and unpacking?

Airport to Cruise
Cruise to CSR
CSR to BC
BC to Airport

We've never done split stays so this whole idea is foreign to me  Should we just keep it simple and stay at the Wilderness Lodge?

We are doing our first split stay in June, but only packing and moving once. How many times is too many is really up to you. For me, packing up for 4 people, that would be too much. If it were just me and DH, I would give it a whirl. Whatever you decide, have fun!

We've done split stays twice, but only with one move each time. If you don't have small kids, then I wouldn't hesitate to do it. I think 3-4 days at each place is the minimum for me to say a split stay is worth it.

Split-stays are a great way to try out different resorts. When my kids were little, we would spent the first half of the week in an Epcot or Studios area resort and the second half at a MK resort. It actually made the vacation seem longer due to the different restaurants/pools/recreation activities we were able to experience.

We did have our own car which made a split stay more convenient.

One year we did three resorts in the same trip...decided that was TOO much!

 okay, I may have to rethink my planning because I'm afraid it may be to much as well

I would keep it simple if you are also doing a cruise. We are doing a split stay this time, two resorts, but we will have our car which helps.

I like to settle into one place and then enjoy all it has to offer. Different trips different resorts. If you really don't enjoy the resort you are in you can always go to the desk and tell them your want to change and they will see whats open at other resorts. We do visit all the resorts we are interested in before we book there.

I thought I've read on here before that Disney will take care of moving your bags for you on a split stay? All you have to do is pack in the morning and then unpack that evening??
