Considering a move to the LA area. Anyone live(d) there? Looking to be within an hour drive of Disneyland, considering Pasadena, Culver City, etc. Anyone have any recommendations or thoughts?

Well look what I found, heehee.
I was made in Los Angeles, aka Angel City, California, born and raised. I've lived here all my life, never left.
You're considering some very nice cities. I go to West LA College in Culver City and I've got family in Pasadena. I'd move to either cities in a heartbeat. Culver City is a very clean, well kept city and Pasadena is so beautiful.Burbank, CA is beautiful too, with all the mountains. I love North Hollywood as well. Let me know if you have more questions.
