Moving to Central Florida in a few weeks. What do we need for resident APs?

Lucky us, huh?

Are resident APs something that we will be able to get easily? Do I need to get an updated Drivers License first? Will a utility or car insurance do? I hear one has to set up an appointment to get the Florida DL, so that could take some time.

Thanks in advance.

I just ask because we will be in a temporary residence for about 2 months and then moving again. I don't mind paying the cost to get a second DL, but if I don't have to....

If I remember correctly (and I may not), you have a very short time in which to get new plates for your car. I think the law was like ten or fourteen days...and you need your license before that, I think.

The whole thing required two trips to two offices and was three or four hundred dollars.

There are various ways to prove residency such a warranty deed or lease agreement, utility bill, etc. You have to find out what Disney requires as proof.

I used a change of address form from the post office with no problems (not the one that you fill out, but the official one that you get in return).
