Moving Booking To a Travel Agent

Hi,

I have a package booked for the end of January 9 nights, AOA, 1 night tickets (going to upgrade to PAP's when I we get there ), the standard dining plan and Magical Express for myself and my soon to be 3 year old son.
I am from the UK but have booked through the US site as the hotel itself worked out a few hundred $ cheaper and the US dining offers include Values which the UK ones do not. I did this a few years ago for FD at Pop and it all worked out well.

A couple of questions

1 - Is it possible to move the reservation to a Travel Agent such as KK? I have only paid $400 so far still have $1500 to pay by mid December.
My reason for asking is that being from the UK its going to be a proper pain and expense if free dining or a discount becomes available (fingers crossed) having to call up and probably change resort to PoP as well. So for someone to be able to do that for me would be great.

2 - If I transfer the booking would I still be able to log in to the Disney site and make payments to my balance / dining reservations etc.

3 - Are there any other advantages to using a TA?

Thanks

Billy

I dont know.

I would send this to the TA. That's kind of the whole point of using one...relieves uncertainty. They worry, you relax. They will know the answers, too. :)

When going to WDW, it is a very good idea to use a TA who specializes is Disney, like KK. Regular TAs just don't know enough about Disney or follow all the loopy stuff Disney does.

...and if it sounds like I'm pushing that because I might be one, lol, I'm totally not. Wouldn't make a penny. I just think it is a smart way to go.

Definalty use a Travel Agent. We are able to keep an eye on specials and take the worry away from you. Once you have booked with an agent, you make payments with that agency, not with Disney. To tranfer your reservation to an agent, you will need to contact Disney and let them know the agency you are working with. Usually they require a letter from you, but not always, sometimes a call is all they need.

I tried getting KK to switch booking from Disney.co.uk and they sent me an e-mail getting me to fill in some basic information and I sent it back to Pam in KK.So id e-mail them and ask them? Sadly because I booked a package from Disney UK they said no because you have booked through the US web site so I'd go for it. If KK take over the booking you will be paying them. I hope it works out for you.
Yes there are advantages to using a TA.
