Yes I did spell Moteurs correctly !
I believe that the Motors Stunt Show currently under construction at D/MGM Studios will essentially be a clone of the MOTEURS Stunt Show currently running at Disney Studios Paris.
Last year I was at DS Paris shortly after it opened in April 2002. The Stunt Show was the best attraction at the park.
I won't give too much away (unless someone out there requests more details) but I can give you a few tantalizing details:
1) The "stage" for the show is very large and wide- at least double or triple the square footage of Indiana Jones Stunt Show stage.
2) Seating will be low end aluminum benches ala Indiana Jones
3) Show takes place completely outdoors- so inclement weather will most likely cancel the performance.
4) This is a real stunt show with real cars (and a few surprises) and real risk takers performing. Some of the cars are trick vehicles, and much of the sound is added through the sound system.
5) The show combines live stunts, a story line & very large video screens in order to better follow the action.
If anyone out there wants more details, I can provide more. If I do, I will warn you guys about spoilers ahead.
By the way, as reported recently by Screamscape.com as a rumor, I believe that once this new stunt show opens, I fully expect the Indiana Jones Show to close permanently and I believe it will replaced by a version of the Indiana Jones Temple Rides similar to the ones in Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea.
If I'm right- we really have something to look forward to.
