Most heavily discounted time of year

Is September and early January still the most heavily discounted time of year between room rates, free dining, etc.? I'm currently booked for Sept 8-13 and hoping for free dining, but I'm starting to think spring may work out better - of course I'm comparing current discounts with not yet released discounts.

Any thoughts? Whats the absolute cheapest time of year to go on a package?

The week in Sept you are looking at tends to be one of the cheapest and very low crowds however just remember low crowds equals short hours for the parks to be open. Which may be perfectly fine for you.

Thanks! We need to go during a slow time of year because my older daughter has autism and sensory processing problems and struggles very much with crowds. She's also obsessed with Disney Princesses and her head is exploding over Disney World since watching the Christmas parade. I'm not sure I can hold her (fine, okay, and me) off till September!

From Valentine's Day until the mid-to-end of April is considered the peak spring break season and while there will likely be discounts, it is not the cheapest time of the year to go. It is also much more crowded than January and September.

If you are looking for less crowds and a good deal I would stick to your September dates once you get into April-August you are looking at crowds due to school breaks, summer, different festivals,etc... Also the last week in August is usually pretty slow due to kids down there being back to school.

Just a quick question: I have a booking in September and have previously taken advantage of the promotions at that time, but I am wondering when the promotions / specials are released?
