When I grew up, it never occurred to me that one day I would see vast swaths of my WDW disappear. But it did. FW, River Country, Discovery Island, my Fantasyland: Toad, Snow White, 20k.
Granted some were not left to rot (only RC, DI and 20k were left to rot away in plain sight). But I realise now that nothing in WDW is meant to last forever. WDW is theatre. Not something build out of stone. The production lasts until the stage is cleared for the next show.
It is not bad, or good, in itself. Just the way theatre productions work. Just...I get emotionally attached to places in WDW, and then they tear it down, and then I miss it terribly for all eternity.

Anyways, interesting video. It looks kind of like that show on History? or Discovery? where they imagine what the world would end up being like if there were no more people. Interesting to look at though they should have included a picture of the castle to really bring it home!

Wonder which cupcake would survive the longest (with the least reduction in quality)? Just thinking of how many cupcakes wouldn't survive REALLY is depressing!!
I will add a trip to WDW to my post-apocalypse plans…..I had planned to be on a Tallahassee type search for a Twinkie, but now I will just head to WDW and grab cupcakes!! Oh yeah, and call me Atlanta from now on……
Make sure to call me up whenever this happens! Provided I haven't acquired a taste for brains, I'll join you!
