Morning update of Fantasyland Expansion 9.23.12

Ran back over this morning to see things in the daytime:

• Tangled rockwork continues
• Mine train coaster being installed
• Trees being added to beasts castle
• Fence fully unveiled near circus and speedway
• Dumbo fastpass sign installed in the yellow tent
• Alice water play area opens at the Grand Floridian

The Fastpass sign in the yellow tent is Dumbo, I was able to see it today.

Great Pictures!

I noticed they are now changing the popcorn lights around the circus sign to alternating colors (regular/red), just like the rest of the popcorn lights installed throughout the land.

I hope the trees around Beast's castle help with the forced perspective!

and they seem to have finally closed the holes on the turrets. Does anybody know what they put inside them?

I guess they are experimenting with bulbs on the circus sign. The S in circus had blue bulbs now and there are some red bulbs along the bottom of the sign

If I am looking at what I think I am, is the fastpass sign in the dumbo tent one of those "return from x to y" signs? Bit hard to tell. If so, why would it be there, instead of by the attraction across the way? Are they just using the yellow tent for staging or to stash some things under cover? It might be for distribution though, but where are Dumbo FP's distributed now?

The Dumbo Fastpasses are currently distributed at Philharmagic. There may be a reason they don't want the distribution right at the ride, so putting it in that tent makes more sense then leaving it where it is at now.

I'm confused that they're installing Fastpass machines for Dumbo. I was under the impression that they would just wait for the digital option to be available. I wonder if this means they're not totally eliminating paper Fastpasses after all.

The train will be letting people off right by the yellow tent, so I can see why they'd put FP there. Get off the train, get yer FP then sit and have a snack or stroll around the shops or meet characters in silly sideshow.
