I have to say that I am really, really, really disappointed to see the water feature being taken away from the lobby. While I never stayed at the Polynesian, the water feature in the lobby was one of my all-time favorite sights of all of the resorts and I'd stop in just to see it. It was relaxing and inspiring all at the same time and I'm truly sad to see it go.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will be replaced by anything nearly as incredible...very saddened by this news. I don't mind change, but not when it's subtracting instead of adding. The change here looks merely for practical reasons to expand check-in, lobby purposes and the lovely aesthetic of the water and garden will be gone.
