Hello All:
I was wondering if anyone from the tri-state area has taken a trip to orlando around the 22nd/23rd of december and what they useually end up paying for airfare. Also, those of you who do fly to the world around the holidays when do you find the best airfare? Thanks a bunch everyone !!

We just went to Disney for Christmas this past year. We live in NJ and flew out of Philly. I got airfare in I believe it was Sept or October (we sort of planned it just by telling someone we knew that we would be at the conference he was sponsoring, so didn't have much time to search around) through Southwest and it was the cheapest (cost us roughly $200 each roundtrip, if I recall right) Others wanted over $350 a ticket) We left on Christmas Eve day. The 23rd if I recall correctly was more money, and we were unable to leave on the 22nd due to hubby's work. Best rates were on the 22, 24, 27, 28, 1/3 and that was it. Prices were up on the in between dates.

Hope this helps.

I usually start looking for my airfare in July for December, granted we tend to go earlier in the month so we're able to generally get under/around $200 rt.
