Which would you find more exhilirating?

Living near WDW with the ability to go anytime you wanted?

or

Living where you do now and planning out a trip every now and then, being extremely excited from the moment it's first planned through the trip itself?

For me of course its living far away, because I do. I'd imagine that if I lived close, going to WDW would just be like a day-trip whereas living far away makes it a vacation.

i think the planning and looking forward to going is alot of the fun i dont think it would be the same if you could just decide you wanted to go the same day.:lookaroun

Time for a "local" to chime in...

I personally LOVE living close enough to go whenever I want....this way you dont have to worry about weather ruining the experience...or the crouds...

It would be living far away because it's more exciting knowing your going to be there and doing research to see whats new at the ride. The anticipation of going, counting down the weeks to days.
If I lived there it would be exciting because I'd probably go more and it would be less exciting.

Just because you live close does not mean you can go whenever you want...;) I've only been to WDW 3 times last year...and none this year...and I'm NOT far away at all.

Well do you think it's that way for anyone who lives close to WDW?

I agree it wouldn't be special.

When I go I usually go for 6 full days and by the end of the sixth day I'm ready to go home and in a couple months, I'm excited to go again, but I like the excitement to build up.

Living a far distance away means that the cost of going to Disney is pretty high. I think the anticipation of going is one of the best parts, you have to book a fair time in advantage and then save like mad, the planning of the trip is wonderful and I think you tend to stay longer its really not worth travelling all that way for a few days.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...so NowInc can stay away from IASW for 50 years and enjoy it after!

But even NOT going to WDW and staying nearby makes me VERY Disney-sick...maybe because I am so used to living in Florida all my life...
