Constuction Wall

I am going in July i am hoping that some of the new construction walls up next to the Castle will be down by then.

Anyone have a clue on when they will come down.

If you're talking about the scrim on the backside of the Castle itself, that came down the other day. (Someone posted pics)

As for these random walls in the middle of Fantasyland, it's anyones' guess when they'll be going up or down.

Question. When I was at MK Thursday the 5th of this month, Cinderella's fountain had been walled off. Are they planning on moving the fountain or just refurbing it?

The walls should be mostly prefabbed , so how long could it take to get it all installed and pretty? I remember seeing bits of the walls backstage a few weeks ago

My trip is August 15th. I'm hoping Dumbo hasn't flown before that. I didn't think they'd move him until just before FLE opens since it's such an icon, but with all the planters disappearing I'm getting worried.

It was just a refurb. The walls are down now, and they cleaned it and repainted the back of it. It looks fabulous.

Yes, but they have to move/destroy Dumbo v1.0 before they can build the castle walls in its place.

Call it a hunch, but I'd guess they'll wait until they have something else open before they remove the current Dumbo attraction to re-place it with a wall. Given the capacity issues that exist right now, closing another attraction for something that can be done towards the end of the expansion seems silly.

Also, since the walls sections are free-standing and don't appear to actually connect to one another (at least according to the concept art), there's nothing that says they can't build some of them now, and finish the rest when they move/remove the current Dumbo.

The one good thing about not being able to afford to go to WDW for at least another year...most of the expansion will be done.
