Does anyone else think they need different character meals character options at some dining places? I am shocked there isn't a Pixar character meal, or villians? I don't like that a lot of the places have the same characters!

We will be dining at chef mickeys, garden grill and most likely ohana breakfast as its one of our favorites! We also were maybe planning on doing 1900 park faire breakfast just to go meet different characters! We don't want to do dinner there because my boys could care less for princesses, is breakfast any good there?

What other character dining characters would you like to see?

Anastasia and Drizella (at 1900 Park Fare dinner) are not princesses and they are hilarious!!!!! I married Drizzella last Friday so if you go there remind your boys she is taken ;)

But yeah I agree. I would LOVE a villains character meal, and why isn't there a Mickey and the gang character meal in MK? Obviously Ohana and Chef Mickey's are right on the monorail but LTT used to have characters, why not just have them for breakfast?

For me, I don't need Mickey at every character meal! 3 charter meals we want to do have Mickey, which is ok, but a little much! I would love to see a Pixar meal most of all! Wishful thinking for this to be added to the DHS makeover if it ever happens...

I also agree! I remember as a kid going to a character breakfast in MGM that was entire theme of Aladdin! It had all of the draperies of the market place like in the movie.. and all of the characters were there and there was a magic lamp that you could rub and make a wish! I believe it was in the building of what is now Playhouse Disney. That was really fun but it didn't last very long.. It just popped into my head and I will always remember it.

I remember this! We went and actually had a great time. I don't remember the food being good but well.

Well I will have to agree with everyone else, variety would be nice. I'm sure Disney has a reason for doing what they do, but I would love to see more character meals for boys. Toy Story or even Monsters Inc.

Pixar is definitely something they should think of doing. A Haunted Mansion or Jack Skellington meal would be super popular too. I think a Star Wars themed restaurant would be a hit as well. And what about an old fashioned throw back character meal. They could do it at MK or GF and rotate the characters from movies pre-1970ish. I think a lot of die hard Disney fans would love it.

I have been saying for years they need more character meals for boys like a Toy Story character meal at the Diamond Horseshore or a Pirates character meal at the Veranda restaurant.
This ^^^^ I honestly thought, after the first Pirates of the Caribbean, they would have done a pirate themed character meal. (How fun would that be?!?!?!?) A Villains meal would be a hoot too!!! A Finding Nemo character meal would be cute, but the costuming might be a tad difficult to pull off. I mean how would you do Dory and Nemo?!?!?!?

I am really surprised they haven't done something like Turtle Time with Crush in a restaurant environment. Can you imagine being able to interact with Crush or Dory or Nemo during your meal? Super fun!
