Is this strictly members or does it apply to people renting DVC as well? I’d be hyped if it applied to renting DVC, but I’d be happy for y’all anyway 😂

A reminder that the web page states that you can return to that page in order to register.

So if you have a reservation for any of those dates I would bookmark the page and set a reminder. Don’t rely on getting the email in time to register. And good luck to anyone trying.

And another reminder that sometimes the system glitches. 😜 Shocker I know! But it used to be reported that even if you have “blue card” status, if the reservation is booked on restricted points sometimes the system would not recognise that you are eligible to book. If you call Member Services a few days ahead they were able to do something to help the system recognise you as a “eligible” member.

It's been 4 guests for as long as I've known (only been a member since 2017 and don't know when Moonlight Magic started, however).

I just looked it up. Took a bit of digging. It depends on your circumstances - having a reservation or not.

It's four guests if you do not have a reservation booked during that time, a rule that appears to always have been in place. At least before, if you booked a Grand Villa, for example, and had 12 guests, all 12 guests would be eligible to attend as long as they were on your reservation.

And an important caveat. I think the guests had to be on your reservation by a specific date before booking opens. If you missed that date and tried to add guests at the last minute they weren’t eligible to be included.

So why post the link?
Because as one who never got emails I know not all get it. In fact on a FB group I am a part of, the UK members asked for the link because they cannot get emails like this. Just reminding people registration for those who do not have resort registrations that tomorrow isn't their day.

So in short, being nice. It sucks when you want to get the links but have to dig for them.

I was unaware of the UK issue. The problem is that you know as well as I do that people will try anyway and we know how good Disney IT is, and some may end up getting in when they shouldn’t.

Oh, and we did get the email and have a resort reservation for that time.

Not just UK members but others don't always get emails. I get you are upset by my posting, but I'd rather it be fair. Sorry, unless the board tells me to remove it, I feel it's the right thing to do. As one who has registered for similar events, no , people won't get in that shouldn't. In fact it usually skews the other way.

Also someone who has no reservation for any of the dates got the email too, so more might be getting it as it is.
