Can anyone explain what kind of ride/ attraction this will be??
Rumor has it same old boring ride as Superstar Limo. Nothing will change just new Monster's Inc scenes.

It is really funny how the mood changes from a site like MousePlanet or MouseInfo (Mostly Disneyland based) to this site (Mostly WDW based). I think this attraction will surprise everyone. And Just because it has the same track as SSL doesn't mean it will be the same boring ride.

I'd be very surprised, seeing as they plan on completing it in 7 months!!! It took them over a year to change AE to Stitch.

Sounds exciting! Too bad it won't be done for my trip this summer...but I always thought a Monster's ride would be fun! Hopefully it will turn into something great!

Wouldn't changing the scenes make it completely different?

I'm surprised more people aren't excited about this, seeing as its Disney's first new dark ride in a loooong time. (I'd say since Winnie the Pooh)

Sorry, I should have been more specific. By boring I meant the same track layout and same slow ride vehicle (not a hanging door or Mike's new car etc).

But you are right about a new dark ride.
They are quickly becoming a thing of the past. I am pretty happy that they haven't killed them off completely.
It's not TDL's Pooh (AMAZING) or Sinbad (great ride but VERY long) but if done right (no cardboard cut outs!) it's a very good sign.
Now if only they would greenlight Western Rivers Expedition all would be right in the world.
