We thought MP was decent, not great. It was a little better than Le Cellier (Le Cellier is one of our favs).
What is your take on Jiko's?

Sigh... Hopefully the reviews will start coming in and will be more positive than the one a PP had posted. If things get better, we'll consider it for our honeymoon trip. If it is what it is, we'll probably skip it. If it is "a little better than Le Cellier" as the PP said, and it remains to be just "a little bit better" we'll skip it, seeing how we don't care of LC at all.

My husband & I ate here Saturday night. We were fans of Bistro & were excited to try the place out. We both found the food & service at MP's to be excellent, but the atmosphere (for lack of a better word) was lacking. Bistro was always a loud restaurant; that certainly has not changed, but it was even louder Saturday night. There were two separate tables in the restaurant that had kids screaming that sounded like fire engine sirens. I would say there was screaming going on 45 minutes out of the hour we were there. Not a great dining experience. Maybe this was a fluke & we hit it on a bad night. Is it a Signature restaurant? Based on food & service, I would say yes. However, for the most part, I think I will stick with Jiko, Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cali Grill, or Narcoose's for my signature dining. These places can get loud, but I've never experienced the din of noise I heard this past Saturday night in any of them. We'll probably give MP's another shot sometime in the future, but I'll make sure it's during off season & not on a Saturday night.
