Monorail

Hey everyone, I am going to Disney for spring break. I am going to ride the monorail and request a seat up front. Now, i dont mean to be picky or rude but do you have to ask for the Co-Pilot's License of do they juts give them to you?

We rode in front 5 times this past August (the little sister just has to ride in the front) and only one time the pilot gave out the little monorail license cards. I would ask if you really want one.

I've ridden in the front once. All we had to do was walk up and ask if we could. If the monorail station is nearly empty, they'll most likely just let anyone who asks.

I think they did, actually. It was awhile ago, so I kind of forget. I also remember that the pilot let me press a button on the console for something

It really depends on the driver. A lot of drivers really don't talk much... while others will talk the entire way. Some drivers will hand out the cards to everyone, others will hand them out only to special groups, and even others will just take them out of the train entirely.

Your best bet is if you don't get one, ask for one. If the train is all out (and we do run out often), just ask a host or hostess on the platform to check another train for you.


Oh... and just a side note... BUSSES now has "Honorary Bus Driver" cards, simmilar to Co-Pilot licences.
