Monorail

On my last visit to Disney Land I asked a CM about the addition to the monorail to connect with Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios. He told me there was a good possibility that it would happen in the future. Has anyone else been told this or even heard about the addition to the monorail? Thanks in advance.....
