Monorail to TTC

A great tip for the end of the day at Magic Kingdom...

If you're taking the monorail back to the TTC you can either go on the express or the resorts line. They both stop at the TTC. Generally the resorts monorail has the shortest line of all ways back to your car and you also get to go through the contemporary which is always fun!

All true. Note however that the express loop runs more trains than the resort loop that time of night. Between that and the fact that there are only two stops on the express line, the line for the express monorail can move quite a bit faster than the resort line.

Those resort monorails pack up too. We stayed at Caribbean beach this week, and ate at Polynesian one night. To keep from doing the "mad bus dash" at closing, we parked at polynesian that morning, and took the monorail over. We ate at Ohana, then went back to MK for parades/fireworks. Afternthat was over, we realized we had to do the "mad monorail dash". They packed us in literally until there was no room to move. It sucked, but was still better than the bus. We got off at Poly and rode our own car back.
I've gotten away from the Disney buses this trip, and couldn't be happier. It's much easier to schedule dinner at the contemporary or Polynesian and park there and go to MK. For epcot, ak, and MGM... I drive it. No problem, and I don't have to wait 40 minutes for a bus. Emily the gps has all the parks programmed.
