Monorail Pluto :)

Every once in a while... something really special and cool happens to someone. We call those "Magical Moments" here at Walt Disney World. Today... one happened to me... and a few guests...

My friend Pluto decided that he wanted to ride in the front cab of my monorail! It was the greatest thing ever, not only for me, but for the lucky 2 groups that got a chance to ride up front.

Why can't that ever happen to me when I'm on the monorail? I always wanted to ride a ride with a character too. Ever since I saw the Space Mountain picture with goofy in it.

how do the characters usually get around? i think they should all use the monorails! it would be nice for the guests!

oooo thanks so much for those pictures Fantasia Boi!!! those were so great !!! We have rode up front a few times ..hoping for atleast one up front ride when we get there in April.. you guys ( and gals) that drive the monorails are so great !!!!!!!! thanks again for the pictures!! A few years ago I bought Hubby a monorail set while we were there ..now every year his monorail is put up around the christmas tree ( needless to say we have a disney covered christmas tree) bets the heck out of a plain ol train

Noticing that the thread starter is a monorail pilot, I was curious if they still give out "Monorail Pilot's Licenses." Do they?

My daughter and I have ridden up front many times but one of her "magical moments" was when they gave her this business card-sized license. That made her a monorail pilot. The "license" was a professionally printed document. We framed her's along with a photo of the monorail we were riding on.

Yes, the definately do give out monorail "licences" I got one last March while I was there.

We sure do! They typically change every year... although, unfortunetly, due to events this past September, we've been unable to create a special one for the 100 YOM... but hopefully we'll get a new design out soon!

A lil tidbit... they used to be signed 8x10 certificates that we'd make up and have the pilot's sign... but now they're just the business sized Co-Pilot License.

I have one of those co pilots licenses in my wallet. Along with my old Room Key and Leave a Legacy card. And don't forget Disney Club...
