Hello, I'm new here and trying to find more information on upgrading my MKVII Monorail playset.
I have searched this site and have read several posts regarding this subject. All very good but somewhat outdated.
In this post I would like for those that have the knowledge to share they know for the benefit of all those interested.
It would be nice to have; A source for the 'correct' motor, Current specs on the newest motor, A source for gears, Correct grease to use on the gears, Replacement drive wheels, and other parts and accessories.
(I did find & ordered replacement rubber drive wheels through a vendor on eBay)
Having a list would be helpful and a great time saver!
I'm hoping this thread will share knowledge and new ideas on how to improve the Monorail playset!
And Not involve someone's personal financial gain or agenda.
My background: 40 years as an electrician (retired), 30+ yrs. operating, collecting, servicing, and building model railroad's
