Monorail Hours of Operation?

Just curious.....we're going down in September and I noticed the Magic Kingdom closes at 6pm almost every night we are there. What time does the monorail stop running at night? Is it an hour after the MK closes or after the last park closes? Thanks!

The MK Monorail probably goes until an hour after MK closes. Th Resort loop probably doesn't close until an hour after the last park closes so the guests can get to their rooms.

The Resort Monorail begins service at 7:00am. No drop offs at the MK until 7:30

The Express Monorail officially begins service at 8:45am. However, it might be unofficially open as early as 8:00am.

The Epcot Monorail begins service at 8:15am.

The Express Monorail will run until one hour after the MK closes.

The Epcot Monorail will run until 10:30, or, one hour after the MK closes. Whichever is later.

The Resort Monorail will run until 11:00, or two hours after the MK closes, whichever is later.

What about on E-ride nights. If i am staying at the Polynesian, will the monorail be running after the E-ride night even though it ends more than 2 hours after the MK closes.

For E-Ride... the Resort Monorail will still stay open 2 hours after the park closes. So, if the E-Ride ends at 1am... the monorail will run until 3am, unless the park clears earlier.

Thank you!!! That's good to hear. I was worried the resort one would close an hour after the MK. We're staying at the Contemp and my parents are staying at the Poly and my son's favorite "ride" is the monrail. Since the MK closes so early, we were planning on just hoping on the monorail for a few laps to keep him entertained for a while.
