The question is, when they cleared the Decals, did the put the "D" back on Teal?

The D's and the decals were two different things. Teal never received the D's when it was painted. Most of the trains have them and when they are repainted, sometimes it was overlooked. For example, Silver did not get them painted back on, but Yellow did. And Black is missing 2 of them.
