Monorail Expansion?

Is the monorail network ever going to expand. I've read and seen some possible proposed routes, but is this ever going to happen?
Anyone have any information or updates?
Be nice to see the monorail make its way to Downtown Disney or perhaps MGM and/or the Animal Kingdom.

You can try the search function at the top of the page. This has been discussed many times, and you can probably find any answers you're looking for. The short of it is that it's too expensive to happen in the near future.
