Monkey Island

Does anyone play the Monkey Island games?
I believe that those are some of the greatest games on the face of the earth.
I just wanna know if anyone else plays these.

Back in my younger days..i was addicted to ALL things lucasarts..from loom...to mokney island...to Full throttle (the sequal to tihs looks AMAZING by the way)...the Dig (still my all time favorite game)...to zakk mckraken...to Manian mansion (1 and 2) ..indiana jones...and even the star wars games they made...

They just dont make games like that anymore (Grim fandango was a great game..and full throttle 2 is shaping up nicely too..but its still not enough)

I enjoyed the Monkey Island series loads. I also enjoyed Grim Fandango and have played through a few times, even though I know it so well, I still enjoy it.
I can't seem to find games like that anywhere recently. It seems like all games involve blowing things up and killing people. I don't have a problem with these games, in fact I own several, I just can't understand why there aren't more games out there that you have to think about.
