monitor setting

i just got a flay panel monitor a while ago. i was wondering if anyone knows somewhere to go to make sure the colors and alll are right.

I had this software called colorific when I bought my samsung monitor. it said it was adjusted so printing and seeing were the same colors. check it out if you'd like.

There are a lot of programs and things for this but I have a nifty little program made by Nokia of all companies which is free and was designed for their monitors. Apparently they make or made computer monitors.

Try doing a web search for "Ntest" if you can't find it drop me a PM and I'll see if I still have the install file for it.

Photoshop also comes with a program that helps set the gamma and RGB levels....thats what i use..

Just remember kids...MAC monitors are naturally darker than PC monitors...so all you cross platform artists out there must keep that in mind
