Underthe amenities at the moderate resorts is noted limited housekeeping. I am assuming that means daily trash and towels and changing the bed mid week ?

We've stayed at two of the moderates: POR (then Dixie Landings) and CB. They did what most every hotel housekeeping does: trash, towels, soap (we had about 20 bars of Mickey soap by the time we left....we didn't use it; I brought my own) and they changed the sheets when ever we asked them to. I'm not sure what "limited means" Maybe it means there is no conceirge. I'm not sure.

Well i have stayed at every moderate resort at disney and they do the same thing in all fix up the room by vacuming, putting new towels, cleaning the bathroom and making the bed now if they change the sheets its day that i doubt i think u get clean sheets when u get there and then they change them when u leave unless they see them dirty or u tell them to do so. the same thing goes for wilderness lodge and theats a deluxe resort.

Weve stayed at POR and CBR and agree with the above. Its much the same as every other hotel...but at CBR, they left us washcloth bunnies with a note and also replenished our coffee and cups each day

The washcloth animals as sooooo cute, when we stayed at the POR 2 years ago we brought two of them home. :goodnevil

Mousekeeping are great, especially if you have kids. On one occation, towards the end of the fortnight, we had accumulated about 8 or 9 different stuffed toys (Dinos from the AK fair, Ojo, Minnie, etc). Anyway, we got home one day to find thw whole lot all arrange up on the bed, facing the TV, which had been turned onto the Disney channel.

I've never seen any difference in the housekeeping between moderate and deluxe resorts.

The most amazing thing housekeeping ever did for us was at the WL. We bought an Aladdin's genie for our son and every day when we came back to the room the genie was posed doing something else. One day he was wearing a visor with a deck of cards spread out before him. Another day he was swinging in a hammock fashioned out of a towel. We literally couldn't wait to get back to the room to see what he'd be doing next. One day we came in and we couldn't find him. I mean, we looked everywhere. We couldn't imagine what happened. Imagine our surprise when we walked into the bathroom and the genie is sitting on the toilet bowl reading a copy of Disney Adventures! This is the type of stuff that personifies the "Disney magic" and gives us one more reason to keep coming back, again and again.

13 days, 16 hours, 43 minutes and 5 seconds...

When I stayed at the Pop Century last month the information I was given was that they change the sheets every fourth day unless you request it sooner. It's part of their environmental efforts, just like they don't automatically replace all the towels daily either.

They did that with my daughter's AK piglet at DL the last time we went , too. She was 9 at the time. It does make it so special. Those little touches mean so much ( and get them a bigger tip for your stay, usually )
